Lottery Funding for Nantyffylon

We are really pleased to have been able to support Nantyffylon Miners’ Institute to submit a successful grant application to The National Lottery Community Fund/ Cronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol.

The Institute has been awarded a grant of £10,560 which will fund training, equipment, operational costs and utilities and will enable the charity to deliver valuable community support and develop a sustainable way forward for the future.

Charlene Rodger, Development Manager for the Institute said that it was “a pleasure to work alongside CISWO helping provide better community facilities, services and opportunities in the Llynfi Valley”. Our team look forward to continuing to support the charity and the trustees with their future plans for the institute, to protect and develop this iconic heritage site for the benefit of the local community.
