Help make a difference in former coal mining communities
When people face difficult times, the impact can reach far beyond one person – affecting families, wellbeing and the wider community.
Every donation to CISWO helps provide practical support for former coal miners and their families, while helping the places and organisations that bring communities together. Your support can help people through challenging times and keep former coal mining communities connected, active and resilient for years to come.

Minibus campaign
Every journey to the Thornycroft Centre is more than transport – it is a lifeline.
For many of the people who attend the centre, our transport service is the only way they can access the friendship, support and activities that help them remain independent and connected to their community.
This campaign will fund a new accessible minibus, providing safe, reliable and accessible transport for years to come, ensuring people can continue to access the support, friendships and sense of belonging they rely on.
